I strongly recommend the beautiful, suggestive and worthwhile restaurant. we take the ticket to go to the restaurant, and have the table near the window. we go... read more I strongly recommend the beautiful, suggestive and worthwhile restaurant. we take the ticket to go to the restaurant, and have the table near the window. we go to the waiter with everything we have put to the sign, to be accompanied to the table, they have not calculated us in the least and ok ... so we go to theke and ask what lamp we have to tell us that we can choose among the free, we put ourselves, and here we start ordering the worst, a waiter with merrier the result I took, and I left, so I don't judge the kitchen, but the staff. I repeat, the environment is beautiful, but if I came back, I would only take the ticket to go upstairs, and I would stop at the bar to enjoy the intentional.

Unfor... read more Everything about the tv tower sets it up to be the perfect dining experience; from the beautiful scenic views of Berlin to the fine dining food it offers. Unfortunately, after this occasion we were left with a bad taste in our mouths. The waiting staff were particularly unpleasant and rude because we were younger than the average couple (and perhaps didn't fit in) and the "VIP package" deal that we bought prior to our visit was actually a sham and way too overpriced compared to the actual menu. We ended up paying €35 more each with this package than if we had just paid separately I.e. It was €85 for the VIP package but fast track window seat tickets in were €23.50, the food was €35 for what we got and we wouldn't have bought the three glasses of wine (which were only €4 each on the menu) cause we aren't big fans. *Tip if you're planning on going* pay for the fast pass window seat restaurant ticket and buy your own food, you'll have a far better and cheaper experience than what we had. Also the later you go the less chance there will be of queues if you don't want to pay fast pass!

YouTube vloggers say it’s a tourist trap but I think it’s such an amazing experience you should...do it. My advice book tickets well in advance.

You only have short time 1hr30 at your table and the tables are seated very close to each other. chairs are not comfortable. Drink selection is bad. Food selection...poor and quality was bland. We were told that they are unable to prepare any hot dishes with flames therefore most food cant be flamed grilled so burgers comes with chips and not potato chips and most of our dishes were cold when they served them]

Similar occasions in other ci... read more I had booked the revolving restaurant on the top of the TV Tower in Berlin as a Wedding Anniversary celebration for my wife and I. Similar occasions in other cities had proved fantastic, so I was hopeful of an excellent night out. I have to...say that the Berlin TV tower did not live up to expectations, unfortunately. The food was reasonable, although my soup and the coffee were both only warm rather than hot. The main issue was the lack of staff. I took forty-five minutes for our main courses to arrive, and I am not sure if it was the waiters fault, because of his large workload or the lack of organisation in the kitchen. At the end of the meal our waiter invited me to leave a tip, in cash. I did not feel moved, so top do. For the amount of money I paid for the evening (just about £200 including drinks). I could have got three good quality meals elsewhere (as we did later in our week's stay). The fact that dinner took so long, we were not able to take a turn around the viewing gallery as they had shut up shop for the night. All in all, a reasonable experience, but to my mind, not worth the amount that they were charging.
