Managed to squeeze ourselves into one of the comfy window seats. Music was good, something nastalgic. If you like the strong smell of cigarets to stay on your clothes and hair for a week after a trip to sofia, then be my guest, this place is for you.

On a snowy day, my... read more Delightful, unpretentious, thoroughly comfortable spot below Volkspark Friedrichshain. A bit off the beaten tourist track and better for it. On a snowy day, my son and I had a delightful lunch. Bulgarian specialties of one sort or another, but nothing terribly exotic. Just well prepared fundamentals and easy, pleasant service. Quite a value and instructive. Try the pileschka parjola.

The owner was ready for a little chat, which was pleasant. Can definitely be recommended.
