Absolutely not recommended. The meat is of poor quality. Everything is prepared with very little love.
A very cozy, nice place. Familiar atmosphere and decour I loved the plates our food was served on. Good quality ingredients, tasty, traditional dishes, warm and welcoming service, and fair prices. The place isn't very big inside, but it's possible to organise a 20 or more people's even there. I would recommend making a reservation upfront when you want to visit. The toilet was clean and spacious
Cute Bulgarian restaurant/bar. We were invited here for a birthday party and were treated to traditional Shopska salad, bread with various dips, and Bulgarian puff pastry specialties (baniza), before moving on to cevapcici, meatballs, and shish kebab skewers. Not everything seemed freshly made. However, the staff was in a great mood and lovingly attended to the birthday girl's music requests. Not a single glass remained empty for long. It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but inside it's a more cozy bistro.
We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening, we were 2 people and got a table for 4 people, there was a pleasant atmosphere, and we got a well-prepared meal, the quantity was ample, it was fresh. The owner was ready for a little chat, which was pleasant. Can definitely be recommended.

Wondered into this bar while following a friend. At 9 p.m. it was crowded with older citizens, smoking and drinking their beer. Manages to press us into one of the comfortable window seats. Music was good, something nasty. If you have the strong smell of cigars on your clothes and hair for a week after a trip to Sofia, then be my guest, this place is for you.
Delightful, unpretentious, very comfortable place under Volkspark Friedrichshain. A bit off the beaten tourist route and better for it. On a snowy day, my son and I had a delicious lunch. Bulgarian specialties of one or another, but nothing terrible exotic. Only well prepared... basics and simple, pleasant service. A pretty value and instructive. Try the Stackschka parjola.
Wondered into this bar while following a friends. Around pm it was crowded with older citizen, smoking and drinking their beer. Managed to squeeze ourselves into one of the comfy window seats. Music was good, something nastalgic. If you like the strong smell of...cigarets to stay on your clothes and hair for a week after a trip to sofia, then be my guest, this place is for you.
Delightful, unpretentious, thoroughly comfortable spot below Volkspark Friedrichshain. A bit off the beaten tourist track and better for it. On a snowy day, my son and I had a delightful lunch. Bulgarian specialties of one sort or another, but nothing terribly exotic. Just well prepared...fundamentals and easy, pleasant service. Quite a value and instructive. Try the pileschka parjola.
