They had booked a table for 4 for early on... read more We came to visit friends who live just around the corner from this lovely, authentic and friendly Italian restaurant. They had booked a table for 4 for early one Monday evening recently. I was amazed how full the place was outside in their garden area. As our friends know the owners and staff extremely well we got extra special attention with all the friendly banter that made the evening especially nice. I went for their Pizza Diavolo with extra gorgonzola cheese. Very nice. And we enjoyed this with a nicely chilled bottle of white Zabu Grillo wine from Sicilia the origin of the owners here I believe. I didn't have a dessert but we partook in a number of post dinner glasses of Fernet Branca liquor including one on the house. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our ad hoc evening dinner, made really special by the fact that our hosts were so well known to the staff here.

The portions are very generous, and the prices are more than fair – unlike almost all other restaurants, prices here haven 't been raised since the pandemic and rising inflation. The summer garden evokes a piece of Italy in the heart of the city. The service is consistently outstanding. From the friendly greeting, the staff caters to all kinds of special requests and always strives to ensure the well-being of their guests.
