I dined here as a solo traveler. I was apprehensive about dining solo, but that soon evaporated due to the lovely people working here. Everyone made me feel comfortable and the music and candlelight dining room while watching people walk by was perfect. The food...was delicious and affordable. I had the house red wine yum. Then I had the caprese salad that had the freshest and sweetest tomatoes with a generous portio... View all feedback.
What Boris Henke doesn't like about Poveracci:
Ci fanno accomodare, dopo averci dato i menù ci comunica che manca praticamente l'80% del menù,compreso il pane.Eravamo in 2 la mia ragazza ha presola casarecce vegetariane (pasta scotta e sugo affogato in panna e pomodoro) io ho preso la "burrata" con bresaola, burrata che sembrava philadelphia immangiabile. per finire un limoncello trasparente che sapeva solo di zucchero.Un conto esagerato 50euro!!! per di più cash p... Everyone made me feel comfortable and the music and candlelight dining room while watching people walk by was perfect. The food...was delicious and affordable. I had the house red wine yum. Then I had the caprese salad that had the freshest and sweetest tomatoes with a generous portion of mozzarella. I also had the pasta with shrimp which was beautifully plated and absolutely scrumptious. I think the tagliolini was freshly made. I will be back
Well, this review is better late than never as I have just realised that I haven't reviewed this having been twice in and twice in The menu is quite small but the quality of the food is amazing as is the...wine. The restaurant is like being in Mama's living room the ambience is great and the staff are really kind and helpful. Guiseppe the owner is very friendly, as are all the staff. They do not speak great English but communication is not difficult. Will always return to this restaurant whenever we are in Berlin. Bravo
I ate here four nights in a row! Francesco the owner was very nice and accommodating. He even made me a special pasta! The only drawback is that credit cards are NOT welcomed
