Abendessen mit der Familie. Herausragende Trüffelpasta in verschiedenen Variationen.
The food is really delicious the pasta sauce was rich and tasty, the pizza was crisp and not too salty, and the tiramisu was homemade and well-balanced. The restaurant feels very cosy because they've gone for that cram-in-as-many-tables-as-possible style which means it's nice and...lively, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues, kids, prams, or difficulty hearing (it's noisy) etc. The service could be improved: the owner/manager seems to spend all his time with a few regulars and the rest of the staff deal with everyone else. I think all the staff are Italian (good sign but their German is not great we had a few mix-ups with our order because of that (I'm writing in English but my husband is German). The service is also quite absent you have to ask to order, ask for more drinks, ask to see dessert menus, ask for the bill etc they don't ever ever come to check-up on your table. Still, we'll go again to try some more dishes because the food really was good, and maybe if we become regulars we'll get the extra manager-service, too!
I've been here many times and will always visit while in Berlin. Everything is flawlessly cooked, nicely presented and made and served with love. The home made pasta and pizza are delicious, the wine list excellent, even the complimentary olives and grappa are a delight....I particularly recommend the carpaccio, saltimbocca alla romana and the truffle pasta, all of them absolutely outstanding and very reasonably priced. The lovely and bubbly Italian owner, Giuseppe, always made us feel at home and offered us one of the best experiences dinning out, thank you guys, you are really great!
Definitely not recommended! Owner (Giuseppe Alletto) is highly aggressive and physically punches/ pushes his clients. For us the reason was, that we insisted on an invoice and respective bank transfer as they did not accept credit cards and rather make you walk to an ATM,...which is ridiculous. We had a business dinner with six persons. After asking to pay by card, the waitress said that there is no card reading machine and we should go to the ATM. We asked for an invoice and bank transfer instead. Waitress takes business card and ID of a colleague and calls owner of the restaurant. After mins waiting time the owner arrived and very aggressively called us arrogant f*cks and yelled „go to the atm and then f*king leave my restaurant“. My colleague replied politely that he first wants his business card and ID back, which caused the owner to hit on the table, thereby throwing multiple glasses on the floor and breaking them. We replied that he should be ashamed for his aggressive behavior, that he should have a card reading device and that he literally killed a good tip for the waitress. Next the owner completely lost his mind getting physical and hitting/ pushing one of us in the face and on the shoulder. The whole time he was furiously screaming and offending our group. Ultimately, the police had to come to calm him down and to make him return our documents. The officers offered us to press charges against the owner. After this the owner was getting very sheepish and apologized for his completely unjustified behavior. We decided that this guy is not worth our time and did not press any charges. We paid our bill without a tip poor waitress and swore to never come back. If you look for a fight and want to ruin your evening this is the perfect pick! Make sure to ask for the owner though he has a black belt and he can knock you out in an instant, as per his screaming..

A place I can call home . Giuseppe is a great host, he keeps a great vibe and gives you a great experience. You don 't go there only for the food, you go there for the experience. A must-try in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
One of the most authentic Italian eateries in Berlin. Located along Torstasse amongst a huge number of choices to part your money from your wallet in exchange for food. It has to be good to be successful down this road. The average stuff will not last. There are far too many really good restaurants to fit almost any budget or taste. The good news here is that this is indeed very good. We had the pollo and a truly incredible pasta dish with crushed pistachios and buffalo mozzarella. I have spent a little time to try and put this in perspective so I don't exaggerate too much, but in the end, I have to conclude that that pasta dish was without doubt the best pasta dish i have had outside of Italy. Service was fantastic with italian waiters who understand the dishes (rather than just read the menu and pretend), and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. However, you should definitely reserve a table via the Fork app as it does get very busy. Highly, and I do mean HIGHLY recommended. Finally, an Italian restaurant where the food truly tastes like it came straight from Nonna's or Mama’s kitchen. Every dish is incredibly delicious — top-quality ingredients, no unnecessary frills, just pure focus on taste and product. The service is absolutely outstanding: the whole family is involved, and you feel their warmth, humor, and attentiveness in every moment. It’s an absolute must-go. Even though large-format bottles and the occasional indoor firework would usually not be my thing, here it all feels completely authentic and only adds to the atmosphere. A huge thank you to Giuseppe, David, Mirko — and last but definitely not least, Mama Papa Lillo Amato — for a perfect and unforgettable day with you. We’ll be back. Again and again.
