Unfortunately I can not be too generous in my review. As a vegetarian , it became obvious that I was going to get the short straw. I chose the fixed price three course vegetarian menu. For my starter option, I was served pea soup with chorizo clearly not the appropriate vegetarian option (which I believe (based on another customer’s plate was ruccola, tomatoes and burrata . When I informed the waiter, he took it away and , erm brought it back without the chorizo foam. Make of that what you will. If the main course had been exceptionally tasty, then I would have overlooked the faux pas with the starter, but unfortunately I found the main course to be somewhat lacking. I can’t describe the dish for the review because the vegetarian main course details were not listed in the menu (it was a to be a ‘Vegetarian surprise’ . I was obviously concerned that this dish also didn’t accidentally have meat in it!! Apart from this, everything was generally great.
The service was very good and that was also eating. we felt very comfortable and we like to come back.
Another proof that the MICHELIN Guide is no longer a reliable reference. It's hard to believe the genuineness of an honest positive review of such mediocre food, from the ingredients, cooking skills to the aesthetics. One would also expect more thoughts to be put in the toilet setup and cleanliness as a slightly upscale restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurant might have the right vision, but the journey to the goal is still far. The service was good nonetheless.
It's been a long time since I went to a restaurant and it was this fine dining type of place, but with absolutely normal atmosphere without being too pretentious and yet the food is absolutely incredible, it is indeed inventive, but not just for the sake of being inventive. Bravo to everyone who made this place so wonderful!
