The crew behind the massive hunk of California redwood that serves as the bar are a perfect reflection of Berlin, beautiful without pretense, hailing from near and far. The cocktails are as inventive as they are authentic. You don't go to the Redwood to be seen, you go to drink, to explore the possibilities.

There's nothing bad about the place, but I can't say that I'm a fan either. They have a couple interesting concepts going, like the aged cocktails, which are already mixed and aging in a cask on the bar. On the other hand, thou shalt not f with ye Olde Fashioned, which recipe stands since dayes of yore! The service and bartenders are really friendly, and the people who come here are truly an international mix, so it is pleasant to be here. I would come again, but I am undecided whether I would affirmatively recommend it or go out of my way to come again.
