Feedback
Nestled beside the charming Strawberry Creek Park, this delightful café has become a welcoming haven for locals and visitors alike. While the coffee and espresso receive praise for their robust Italian flavors, some food items fall short of expectations, particularly the vegan pastries. Despite a limited indoor seating area, the outdoor ambiance invites guests to enjoy the sun with their drinks and blankets provided for added comfort. With friendly service, kid-friendly vibes, and a creative atmosphere, this café serves as an ideal spot for relaxation, productivity, or simply soaking in the lively community around.
This special cafe anchors the beautifulStrawberry Creek Park. A beautiful, unique community has flourished, in large part, a credit to Andy and Asako who have nurtured this community where all people, from infants to elders to furry friends are welcomed with delicious drinks, foods, and the extra touches like blankets and extra tables upon request that make it a daily destination to both work and relax. For decades, I've worked all around this country, and I am someone who appreciates good cafe culture. The Hidden Cafe ranks in my top 3 all-time! (This review is for people who want to be in a positive environment and who understand that a good community is a reciprocal relationship.)There are so many hidden treasures that I won't reveal here, but if you are looking for that special place to do your thing, you probably found it here!
I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this place, and the Chai and Hojicha drinks were delicious! I definitely plan on visiting again.
Great little café tucked away next to a park with an open field. They provide blankets for you to sit on the grassy area.
The food: alright. I had the breakfast burrito and the lemonade. They were just fine. Could use a lot of improvement, especially for the price. The VIBES : it seems like a whole different world. I came here once on a Saturday for Record Store Day since I live about 60 miles away. I sat outside at a table near the grass, and it was so lively. The cafe has loads of blankets for you to borrow to sit on the grass, and I think that's so thoughtful. So many people were basking in the sun, doing work, reading a book, talking, napping. The cafe had a little bubble machine that just added sparkle to the environment. Kids usually annoy me, but it was so cheerful and happy as they played games and ran around; that's how you know this place is magic. It was its own little bubble of blissfulness. Everyone is so kind. I wish there was a location like this at UC Davis or Sacramento because I could not drive 60 miles just to be here for a day. But the vibes were off the charts, and the sun was warm and shining and somehow didn't burn my dark hair.
