Back in 2019, this was my favorite taco spot. I came back for a nostalgic hit but unfortunately this place has fallen off. Mathematically, if the ratings were displayed with an exponential moving average (EMA) filter, the average would be astoundingly lower. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
This was my favorite Mexican place in Berkeley, but it fell off, food is now terrible. So sad. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
I’ve been coming here for years and claiming it’s on of the best places to get tacos nearby. The past few times have been disappointing and this last meal was by far the worst. The meats were bland and the tortillas tasted like leather. The salsas are still quite good but it’s not enough to mask the lack of flavor in the tacos. The chips and guacamole were ok for the price but I felt as though they had some artificial after taste. I think it may be time to look for a new go-to taco spot if Sinaloa continues to lower their standards and quality. As a long time customer I wish them the best and hope they can get things in order because it used to be so good. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
