Opening is 11am. Was not greeted or acknowledged for about 10 minutes. We were then seated and told to look over the menu through a QR code on the table. BTW, love that more restaurants are now utilizing this resource more. We came on the last day of Berkeley Restaurant Week. The special was 2 burgers of your choice and half a liter of Sangria for $25. Great deal. Their burgers range from $15 to $20. Ordered the El Clasico (carmen ranch grass fed beef patty, manchego cheese croqueta, CB sauce, lettuce, red onion, bone marrow butter, acme bun) and Pollo Bravo (Spicy chicken gruyere croqueta, serrano pepper slaw, garlic pickles, spicy brava aioli, acme bun). Both came with a side of arugula salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The cheese croqueta was rich, gooey and squirted out like a gusher. The reason for the 3 star review was because of the service. During our time dining we were never once checked on. Would be understandable, if it were busy, but there was only one other couple and a single person ordering for takeout. 5 stars for the food and 2 stars for the service. Will definitely be ordering again, but only through delivery.

The flavor was... read more This was a great little gem that hits the spot! All the food we ordered was delicious seafood paella, croquet, the shrimp were the top favorite. The flavor was spot on, and it was very well seasoned and balanced. The paella has a nice crispy Socarrat layer but wished it had more. The calamari was good and fresh (as is everything else) but we wish there was a bit more crispness. The drinks were also nice and refreshing. Only wished the old fashioned had a large ice cube, but no biggy.
