Kaokao Grill offers outstanding food for a small local spot. The menu is limited, but each dish is expertly crafted. They recently introduced noodle dishes, and we’ve tried three so far—all with perfectly chewy noodles and rich flavors. The grilled meats are smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. This is my favorite restaurant on College Ave, and I hope more people discover it. One thing to note: the food takes a bit of time to arrive—not long, but not instant either. It’s a casual place, so you might expect quicker service, but it follows a proper restaurant pace, reflecting the quality of the food. Service is excellent. Dining in for lunch, I typically spend $20–30 per person. Food and service both earn top marks, while the atmosphere is average. There are vegetarian options available, and a note for dietary restrictions: some dishes contain peanuts, so be cautious.
