Over time, we’ve learned to expect this, having grown frustrated by receiving nearly well-done steaks when asking for medium, all while trying to avoid food waste. The black tea was disappointing, with a slight bitterness. However, the African root tea was a pleasant surprise. The scones with Devonshire cream were excellent—definitely a highlight of the afternoon tea experience for me. Pros: A nice place for afternoon tea, though it is somewhat expensive at $50 per person after tax and tip. Cons: Sparse online details about Restaurant Week participation times, limited parking, and a less than impressive steak.
