Was User at Jaffa Coffee Roasters a mag?
My sister and I are both UC Berkeley students who have been coming to Jaffa since they've opened, the workers know us by name and we always feel so comfortable and cozy in the cafe. We love studying here for hours. I hated coffee before I came here, but their caramel or strawberry sage coffee drinks are to die for. This is my favorite small business coffee shop in the Berkeley area, it is a must visit! Please support... View all feedback.
Jaffa Coffee Roasters is the epitome of a true craft coffee experience. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear they take roasting to the next level. Every cup is brewed with precision, passion, and premium beans—you can genuinely taste the difference. The head roaster is an engineer, which explains the scientific approach you’ll see around, with glassware like Erlenmeyer flasks and beakers lending a unique, lab-inspired atmosphere. But it’s not just about science; the heart and soul behind the coffee shine through in every detail. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and truly enthusiastic about their craft, guiding you through their roasts and helping you find the perfect cup. Beyond the coffee, Jaffa’s Palestinian ownership adds a meaningful cultural depth that you can feel throughout the cozy yet modern space. The coffee itself is outstanding—whether you opt for a smooth espresso, a delicate pour-over, or something bolder, each sip is rich, balanced, and expertly roasted. Jaffa Coffee Roasters checks all the boxes for a specialty coffee spot: exceptional quality, a powerful mission, and top-notch service. Absolutely worth visiting. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
