Sign by... read more The menu is a joy to peruse and everything looked tempting. But yeah go for the pecan waffles. Very tasty. Everyone there's in a good mood. Good vibes. Sign by the register said if I left a review you'd draw my favorite animal. Or at least one of my favs... how about a hyena? So, service happened to be a little slow when we were there but everyone was working hard.... just be prepared it might not be a quick breakfast. But it sure will be delish.

I had high hopes of finding a laid-back breakfast spot in Berkeley, especially given the positive reviews and enticing menu. Unfortunately, we waited 45 minutes for our food, which turned out to be just an average omelette, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is that the pancakes were passable. It was evident that the restaurant was understaffed; we noticed several flies buzzing around, and we even witnessed staff arguing among themselves. The bathroom was also in bad shape. I would suggest skipping this place—it's definitely not worth your time or money.

We discovered this place through Urbanspoon and we're so glad we did. The staff was super attentive yet relaxed, making us feel well taken care of without ever feeling hurried. The menu offers straightforward breakfast and lunch diner options, along with some delightful cocktails. The Mexican Eggs scramble was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the French toast was cooked to perfection. Next time, I intend to try the pancakes and the heavenly home fries, which were very tempting from the table across the room. This is definitely an A+ spot for breakfast and brunch, especially since breakfast is served all day!
