We dine here before attending shows at the Freight and Salvage. Making a reservation online through Open Table is a breeze. I appreciate the diverse menu, and I often take the opportunity to try something new. They also offer a great selection of vegetarian options. View all feedback.
What Brant Lakin doesn't like about Gecko Gecko:
Ordered the yellow curry with chicken in the lunch special. This could be a fluke, but I was not impressed. The vegetables tasted like they were cooked in water and added to the curry and the chicken is over cooked and had the strong chicken stink. I expect Thai restaurants to be able to do chicken tender, so am rather disappointed. The spring roll is also nothing special. Thai iced tea is good. And free wifi and fri... View all feedback.

The food is fresh, visually appealing, and delicious. In fact, my girlfriend and I agree that they serve the best pad Thai we've ever had! It strikes a perfect balance—savory and delectable without being overly sweet. The spicy basil fried rice also had just the right amount of heat. Most specials are reasonably priced, averaging around $13.95, and the quality of the food exceeds that of many higher-priced restaurants. Overall, our experience at Gecko Gecko was fantastic, and I highly recommend this gem in the city center to anyone looking to enjoy great Thai cuisine.
With an old colleague and we had a great lunch with the flank steak and with the huh with a little extra spice.
The service during lunchtime was extremely slow, with a 40-minute wait before we were served. While the food was quite good, the long wait was definitely frustrating.
