Description

Tucked on San Pablo, this hidden-gem tea shop offers a serene, spa-like escape with tatami seating, plentiful outlets, and an impressive, reasonably priced tea selection guided by passionate, knowledgeable staff. Pots (about $8–$12) come with ample hot water for long re-steeps; small bites like steamed buns and artisanal pottery are available. The quiet, welcoming space is ideal for studying, working, or catching up with friends, though limited seating, a drafty interior and a lack of sweets can detract on chilly days.

It's so nice and lovely. It's one of the few if not only places I've felt super comfortable just being. The guy that sat next to me felt the same way I'm sure; because he farted without so much as an excuse me. And I only say that because it happened but I'll be honest It's the most blah I've been about a fart in my whole life. I'm not even mature about farting in private. This place is amazing. Wonderful selection of teas. From all over. They even have teas ranging from high caffeine to none. Also they don't frown upon you eating the tea. I ate the tea .

Charming tea house with a serene atmosphere and soothing classical music. Their selection of teas is delightful; I particularly enjoy the pu-erh, which has low caffeine and a rich, earthy flavor. Their decaf sleep tea is also excellent.

Excellent little hole in the wall complete with raised floor seating. We had Yunnan Gold Tea. Good for a date. I'm partial to the Jasmine Walnuts.

One of the coziest and most delicious tea shops in the east bay. The vibe is so welcoming and a perfect place to chill or work. Their tea selection is amazing and the staff always give the best recommendations.
