Delhi Diner - Berkeley
Delhi Diner
Description
Delhi Diner presents a mixed bag of experiences that leaves diners divided. While some guests rave about the generous portions and flavorful dishes like veg biryani and Paneer Tikka Masala, others lament the service and overpriced, underwhelming meals. Automated ordering via touch screens, misleading buffet claims, and issues like an out-of-order restroom detract from the atmosphere. Complaints of dry chicken and poor seasoning have also surfaced, with reports of uninviting conditions like cold temperatures indoors. Despite the positives, including friendly staff and enjoyable dishes, the overall consensus leans toward caution for potential visitors. Choose wisely.

The veg biryani, Bhuna lamb, and Dal Makhni were all fantastic, especially when paired with the spicy red sauce and the raita, which was a bit sweeter and thicker than I'm used to. The mint chutney reminded me of a salsa verde. The mango pickle came in a small packaged portion.
Too pricey, some hidden fees Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
