This was my first visit to Crumbl Berkeley, and it was definitely a worthwhile experience. My child is obsessed with the place and loved having his name called when our order was ready. The only downside was that we weren’t greeted when we arrived. Overall, the takeaway service was great. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Highly recommend trying the Party Box. Price per person: $50–100.
I traveled all the way from downtown to pick up some cookies for a friend in Berlin whose daughters are really excited about them. The online ordering process was straightforward and well-organized. However, when I arrived and asked if the cookies could be wrapped carefully since they were traveling all the way to Europe, I was passed to another employee who said they don’t provide that service. I was given an expensive box of cookies with just a ribbon on top, which immediately fell off as soon as I opened the door. There was no bag or any additional packaging—just a box of overpriced cookies made in a sterile environment. I don’t understand the hype; for the price, they could at least provide a bag or some way to secure the ribbon. Service, atmosphere, and overall experience were quite disappointing.
These cookies are honestly nothing special—overpriced and unimpressive. The interior feels bleak, almost like the backrooms, with plain white walls, and the staff come across as unenthusiastic. Ultimately, these are just expensive, decorative cookies. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
