This modest spot serves FOCACCIA with a large variety of toppings and is as authentic as it gets outside of Italy. The owner uses super fresh vegetables and meats, and uses recipes from his upbringing in northern Italy. The flavors are delicate and wonderful. AND they have that iconic street food found in Italy and South France a GF flatbread either called Socca or Farinata. It's made from chickpea flour and olive oil. It is a great snack made without any wheat, and full of protein.

I say this as a native New Yorker, who is very critical of pizza and thinks most of the pizza in California is pretty underwhelming.

The focaccia is soft with a nice crunchy bottom and the vegetarian flavors are excellent. Today we had the arrabiata and it did have a bit of a kick, nice tomato paste flavor and such a lovely texture! Also enjoyed an avocado caprese sandwich- vegetarian and very beautiful with pale green tomatoes, avocados and arugula paired with mozzarella. The service is wonderful and the dining area is very cute and clean! Prices are reasonable. Will come back for dinner and drinks at some point!
