The food is great when it's open, but there have been times when I've gone there and found it closed—like today.
The cafe owner is fantastic. The prices are reasonable, the drinks are great, and they serve the best bánh mì in all of Berkeley!
December 2021: I finally remembered to snap a photo of the Thai tea before I finished it! Still incredibly tasty—10/10. Even on a rainy day, this place maintains a cozy and welcoming atmosphere! January 2023: Just an update: the food is still amazing! While some prices have increased by 60 cents to a dollar, it’s still worth every penny. All the ingredients are fresh, and this is probably my favorite homemade Thai tea in the Bay Area. This place truly feels like a hidden gem, and the owner remains as friendly as ever—12/10!
It's impressive how the person behind the counter manages the busy flow of customers! They definitely deserve some recognition for that! Additionally, the Tofu Bahn Mi is fantastic!
I've passed by this restaurant countless times and never felt the urge to enter. However, today my boss and I decided to give it a chance, and I am so glad we did! It was absolutely delicious! The owner was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor. We left feeling happy and satisfied. I definitely recommend it! And did I mention how affordable it is?!
