Great eating and I had many Ethiopian food in the past. service was excellent, attentive, but not intrusive, ambiance is casual, I do not live in berkely, but if I, that would be a regular place for me. I'm back!
Charming place to have a very innate meal. it was perfect for us before a concert in zellerbach. very grateful to be able to make a reservation. delicious Ethiopian foods (which they easily changed for the few in our party who do not eat spices especially spicy) served community. the congenial host helped to make this a wonderful way to enjoy a preconcipital gastronomic tasty bite

The restaurant serves delicious Ethiopian cuisine and provides excellent service. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. Even though I don't live in Berkeley, I would make this restaurant a regular dining spot if I did. I will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is a delightful spot to enjoy a friendly meal. It was the perfect place for us to dine before attending a concert at Zellerbach. We were thankful for the opportunity to make a reservation. The Ethiopian cuisine was delicious and they were happy to accommodate those in our group who preferred less spicy food. The food was served family-style, adding to the communal dining experience. The friendly hosts also contributed to making our pre-concert meal a delightful experience.

Finfine is decent, but I have experienced better restaurants in Berkeley. I suggest trying Barcote instead, as my friends and I had a great dining experience there recently.
I would give this Ethiopian restaurant a rating of 4 out of 5. The ambiance was decent, earning a 3 out of 5. Overall, I found the food to be of high quality and delicious. The Lamb Tibs dish I ordered was fantastic and one of the best I've had at any Ethiopian restaurant.
Finfiné is my favorite hidden gem in Berkeley! I had never tasted Ethiopian cuisine before coming to this restaurant, and I found it to be a delicious and fun experience to eat with your hands.
