Taco John's - Beloit
Taco John's
Description
A neighborhood fast-food spot shows a clear split between earnest, hardworking staff and inconsistent kitchen standards. Diners report bland or stale-tasting meals, sparse taco fillings and frequent order errors, often compounded by slow service and an understaffed, messy kitchen. The dining room can become chaotic—particularly when nearby high-school crowds arrive—though some visits feature attentive service and flexible breakfast offerings. Management and cleanliness improvements are needed to reach the restaurant’s potential.

I've consistently had a disappointing experience with the food here. It lacks flavor and often seems like it has been sitting out for too long. Honestly, Taco Bell offers a better option.
Good for fast food tacos and Service was fast and friendly. Potato Oles can be beat. I prefer the soft shell chicken tacos or street tacos.
The tacos were very sparse, containing only a small amount of meat, some lettuce, and a sprinkle of cheese, with no tomatoes at all. The flour tortilla was also quite dry.
The fish tacos were wonderful. Fresh, tasty, and potato ones are always satisfying.
While I was waiting for my order to get corrected right I noticed the kitchen was really gross the manager came out and was yelling at the staff because they wereMessing up people orders i really like the food but this place needs to be closed down cleaned really good and hire a new manager and crew
