This once-beloved restaurant has seen a decline in quality and service, disappointing many loyal patrons. Customers note skyrocketing prices, unsatisfactory meals, and diminished portion sizes. While the breakfast offerings received praise for freshness and flavor from some, reports of soggy French toast, burnt bread, and inattentive service prevailed. The charm that characterized the establishment is fading, replaced by a more impersonal atmosphere. However, the coffee remains a standout, drawing praise for its quality from seasoned coffee lovers. The restaurant's transformation raises concerns about its future, as many long-time visitors reconsider their dining choices.

the best coffee variety they would get in the city. there is a lot of broth light, medium, strong and super strong to choose. I have bought the grounded coffee (they also sell the beans) for some time and has been really happy with the coffee so far. when they are in town on Friday, they can get the coffee from the local st george’s market. if not from the load. definitiw recommended when they love coffee. What UraniumMan dislikes about Sd Bell:
Recently, I met a colleague for breakfast at this restaurant. The food and service were satisfactory, but I couldn't help but notice a significant increase in prices. A couple of years ago, you could get a meal with tea or coffee for around £12, but now it's closer to £20. I believe that restaurants in this area are charging too much and may end up losing customers as a result. View all feedback.

My wife and I call in bell 6 days per week for morning coffee and have done for many years. the staff are very friendly and always helpful and engage with customers. we found the coffee and eating from a very high standard. I would recommend Bell’s and look forward to many more years that ask for coffee and eat.
It was excellent. I had never been before and I would go back. The food was lovely and fresh and tasty. The staff were helpful and nice. Great service.
Poor service quality of food terrible and very expensive. The place could also do with a good clean. Please tell your staff it cost nothing to smile
