Met a friend there for lunch and few drinks on a weekday. I was surprised they weren't any busier because the food was very good and delivered pretty quickly. There were a few other groups that came and went while we were there and a couple guys who had called ahead and had their food brought out as soon as they sat down. I hosted a birthday party for my girlfriend at The Horse's Mouth, and I have to say, it was the best service I've ever experienced. We enjoyed a nacho and taco bar, and the pricing was excellent. I highly recommend visiting The Horse's Mouth or even booking a party there—you definitely won’t regret it. A big thank you to Troy, Jen, and the staff for making her birthday truly special. I’ll definitely be booking another party in the future!
I absolutely love this restaurant! I stopped by for dinner last night, and it was fantastic. My fiancé ordered the wet burrito, and it was incredibly delicious. The jalapeños were so fresh and spicy—wow! I tried one and figured I could handle it at the time. She managed to eat only half of the burrito, so we brought the other half home. I couldn't help but tease her about needing some Tums afterward. Later, around 9 PM, I reheated the other half and devoured it. Oh man, my stomach is still feeling the heat this morning! Kudos for those peppers—full of flavor and heat, they were amazing! I also love your fries!
I visited this restaurant last weekend after a large Irish wedding with a group of about 15-20 people. At the first bar we tried, some in our group were turned away for not having their passports. However, Horse's Mouth welcomed everyone with warmth and hospitality. They offered outstanding service, delicious food, and great drinks for all of us. If you’re in the mood for a drink or a bite to eat, I highly recommend this place. The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly as well. Thank you for a fantastic evening!
Met a friend there for lunch and few drinks on a weekday. I was surprised they weren't any busier because the food was very good and delivered pretty quickly. There were a few other groups that came and went while we were there and a couple guys who had called ahead and had their food brought out as soon as they sat down. They have an outstanding draft beer selection, with a large, easy to read list. It included a description, cost, brewery and the ABV for each beer. There was one gal running the bar and waiting tables and she did both very effectively and was very personable. The owner(I assume) came to our table and was very friendly and knowledgeable of craft beers. I like the open layout and like many breweries/pubs, it has a bit of an industrial look to it.
I was given a gift card from the owners for Teacher Appreciation Day since their children attend our school. My husband and I decided to stop in and give it a try even though it isn't close to home. From the outside we were a bit skeptical, but once we entered we loved the decor, wide open yet very welcoming. The owner and waitress both made us feel very welcomed. There were not many people there for it being lunch hour which still confuses me. The craft beer selection was extensive and the menu gave us enough selection to choose from. My husband had a chicken sandwich and still comments how fresh the sandwich was, one of the best he has ever had. I had one of the wraps. It was very well made, full of great ingredients. The homemade chips were also amazing! Prices were also very reasonable. If we lived closer, this would become a regular stop for us.
