The service was relaxed and friendly, and we had a good evening. The bad rating is only due to the very unpleasant attitude of the manager who has no qualms about lying to customers. We booked directly with the restaurant on Tuesday for 9 people (6 adults and 3 teenagers) for dinner on Thursday (confirmation received by email and deposit of 180 EUR paid) but when we arrived that evening, the chef explained that we had 2 separate tables, one for 4 and the other for 5 but that we couldn't dine together: this was the restaurant's policy, which didn't accept bookings for more than 8 people! We asked him to put 2 tables closer together and he replied that he couldn't for obscure reasons of taking orders in the kitchen! Please, don't take customers for idiots and treat them with respect for a prosperous future in the restaurant business!

We arrived as a family of 8, having made a booking over the phone. Our party included grandparents, and 1 child, we were told there were no tables of 8 upon arrival which was inititally disspaointing, however we were informed that they could squeeze us around a table for 6 or we would have to take 2 seperate tables of 4. One of my sons thought he was allowed to join the 2 tables and when we did they refused to serve us, becoming rude. All the while the restaurant was virtually empty: this was terrible communication and unnecessary and the staff member dealing with us was so rude. Ushering us out the door as we left. Absolutely disgusted by such volatile staff, to which we are not accustomed. We had a truly dissapointing and uncomfortable ecperience on my husbands 60 th birthday. Would not reccommend this restaurant and will not be back. We ended up leaving and going to a nearby resturant can nasi and we had a completely different experience, happy to serve us together the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was wonderfully catalan.

The menu is diverse and different, you could tell everything is cooked to order with fresh ingredients. It was also the staff that made the evening helpful, cheerful, smiling, knowledgeable and they looked as if they were enjoying being there. It makes such a difference.
