The rooms are clean and modern. The terraces are overlooking a great beach. I think the view and the room are the two things explain the price but the rest worths nothing. The restaurant, the food, the gym and the spa are average (even maybe lower). The massage was not good. Overall, just for the view it worths staying couple of days but don’t expect anything else.

Some of the s... read more The location of the parador is outstanding, wonderful views, but given the price, the service should be outstanding and it is rather hit and miss. Some of the staff are warm and helpful, while others are rude and extremely unhelpful. The car parking is free, but at a high cost. My car was damaged while parked and the receptionist, was unhelpful, disrespectful, didn't care, offered no help what so ever. There are cameras, but when I pointed this was told that due to data projection laws they could not do anything. I would have expected at least they would have offered to call the local police. Waitress service on the terrace, we sat a table, the table wobbled very badly, we pointed this out to a waitress and her response was yes it wobbles and rushed off. Room cleaning, the shower is very large, really great, the issue is the water leaks onto the bathroom floor, therefore towels have to be used. One day we noticed we didn't have enough towels, so when we left the room, we saw a cleaning person, her response was to shout at another person, who later entered the room, leaving a couple of new towels but did nothing about the wet, used old towels on the floor. The food and service received in the restaurant where outstanding. Given the high cost, and service received, I would not recommend staying here.
