They were trialling a new menu, unfortunately. The starter was tastless and the salmon had slimy skin left on it. Both our steaks had to be sent back as they were cremated. Last course of cheese was very good but easily done. Waiting staff and location excellent, however.
The hotel manor house and the surroundings are beautiful, staff were very polite but unfortunately not all staff are competent, bar staff not really sure the difference between one wine and another , evening meal was okay bit over priced as were the drinks and the selection was poor, breakfast was lovely once it finally arrived , staff failed to take our order to the kitchen the first time and another member of staff decided to clear our table before my partner had finished breakfast, I would visit again hoping all the issues can be sorted .
