We came at 12:30 on a Sunday, admittedly hopeful as we didn’t have a reservation, but upon arrival noticed that there are plenty of tables empty, inside but especially outside. The excellent waiter said that although the inside is completely booked, we could go to one of the probably 30 free tables outside. We said okay, no problem. However after not even two minutes of being seated, the manager came outside and told us that this isn’t possible?! I asked « Pourquoi pas? », and after taking a moment of thought, the manager replies « On a fait cette choix. ». Totally disrespectful, and completely arbitrary and arrogant decision as there were plenty of free tables available. The manager is most certainly bigoted and or racist, completely totalitarian. I feel bad for anyone who works for him. I would give a zero star if it was possible, but since it isn’t, this 1 star goes to the impeccable waiter who tried to save the day, offering to make us a sandwich after we were refused to be served.
