Beautiful, tasty eating in a beautiful atmosphere. fish cake and seabass were on the spot. comical waiter added the entertainment!
Never had a bad meal here, the menu is full of choice even for a fussy eater like me, and the food is always fantastic! I've also stayed over several times and all of the rooms are beautiful. The staff are great, always friendly and smiling and can't do enough to help you. Bar staff are well trained (great gin and tonics! and the wine list is very impressive and reasonably priced. As for the car park scheme, I've visited several times and struggled to park due to people abandoning their cars to go for walks in the area so I actually think it's a great idea. Not only is it completely understandable that the owners don't want to offer free parking for non-customers, it ensures parking is always available for paying guests. I'd much rather spend 30 seconds providing my car registration at the bar, with a drink in my hand, than 5 minutes driving round looking for a space because of non-customers taking advantage of a free car park! And as there are signs EVERYWHERE I don't understand how anyone can complain, to me it just shows the owners were quick to spot an issue with the car park and have addressed it quickly and easily!
