D... read more We were recommended this place so we were excited. The entrance was not welcoming with boxes and kitchen equipment stacked up; not the best first impression!! Despite having booked we were kept waiting but shown to our table where we wer left for 5 minutes plus with no menu no drink!! We choose the tasting menu 5 courses plus one wine selection to accompany it. Delightfully there were some amuse bouche served first, pointed out with a biro pen to each component (not quite the elegance we expected for such an upmarket establishment) We also ordered a bottle of wine and on 3 occasions during the meal we both sat with empty glasses!! The food was beautifully presented; some courses lacked flavour notably the trout and the entrecôte but the saffron risotto was one of the best we’ve ever had topped with fresh sole perfectly cooked! At CHF 342 it was expensive and the service disappointing! Maybe well established with years of business behind them but we felt complacency had set in!

Incompetent service, a Chef who only greets his acquaintances and friends, a detestable atmosphere between servers. An address to avoid and a closure with a complete change of MANAGEMENT to be desired as soon as possible.
