Rosti-Stube - Basel

If you want to sample great Swiss Food, in a livekey atmosphere, then the Rosti-Stube won't disappoint you. Good Food, Good Drink and reasonably priced

It's very simply, decorated in typical wood like mountain restaurants at Switzerland. Not very big but comfortable.

Very kind staff and Turkish dishes with fresh and good ingredients. The only problem of course is the high price, but at the base it is really impossible to eat out at reasonable prices. we were here almost every night, given the proximity to the hotel and the sympathy of the managers, cooks and waiters.

We had the breakfast buffet and it was quite elaborate. One interesting thing was the facility to boil your own eggs - the way you like. They had raw eggs and a boiler and you could place the eggs yourself in the boiler and get it as soft, medium or hard. There were also good yoghurts along with fresh fruit salad. In cereals, there were only cornflakes. There was also some prepared muesli. Breads were good as well as the jams but there was no way to toast the breads.
