Man, the best pizza I have ever had in my life. We shared ROASTBEEF CON TARTUFO and loved every little piece of it. The pizza is simply a marriage of perfection on a plate, all flavours go so well together. There was absolutely nothing that we would change about it. The house made ice tea also amazing, wish we could spike it with vodka what a great base for a cocktail!

She is Italian... read more As we came back from a weekend in Dolomites, not having a chance to eat italian pizza in Italy, we came to Dio Mio at colleague's recommendation. She is Italian and approves of the pizza and so do we. Neapolitan pizza in Basel? Yes, please! The cocktails were great also. I've read somewhere the pizzas are small (not true and that the waiting time is long (also not true, if anything, we got our pizzas too soon! . The staff are lovely, the ambiance inside pretty great too. Overall, simply excellent!

Very attentive staff who wanted no time between serving customers and answering any questions . Great wine list and solid menu of Italian favourites including desserts Would recommend highly if you are on a weekend trip
