I've had lunches there a couple of times and most of the times, I went for the pizza as this is something they do very well. The price is reasonable and the staff friendly (boss always goes from table to table to ask whether everything is ok). However, sometimes, we had to wait a bit longer to get our meals. The restaurant also offer all the pizza for take-out for considerably less money.

They have menus with Englis... read more They have lots of outdoor seating, the food is fresh, simple and very good. They have options for every palate including vegetarian. They have menus with English and the staff speak English as well. The service is leisurely not rushed and the prices reasonable especially for Basel. They have a Swiss Beer on tap and a small but decent wine list. I would definitely recommend it.
