the service is friendly. we have been pointed out that it is cheaper and we have more choice, we take the meza instead of the mixed appetizer plate and the aladinspie. eating is very good. View all feedback.
What Lorena Herzog doesn't like about Aladin:
the restaurant is very nice centrally located and the owner is nice. the food is unfortunately miiiiserabel and overpriced! you pay for a bad kebab 27Fr.!!! you get this better in every dönerbude! the hummus consisted only of oil and the fried teig pockets were simply insane!. probably it is simply a tourist trap and can only survive by it. No one will return to eat! View all feedback.
Without any problems an hour before a table has been reserved by phone and warmly received by the owner.Uncomplicated, accommodating and very fast service. We really never had to wait for more than 10 minutes. We got wine tastings for the wine card! We took the menu for two people with 8 different mezze which were absolutely top of the preparation and presentation!Of course, eating is not cheap, not at all like in the country, but that is in the Swiss and that should be known before...We come back!

We discovered this establishment more than a year ago and we decided to renew our choice for dinner. this time, great disappointment ... the plates ordered are only Lebanese of name and the products not fresh at all. Sorry, but never again!!!!
I keep returning for the vegetarian meze (starter) selection (available from two persons) - a huge feast-like meal for two, though rather greasy as many of the meze are deep-fried. (Hence, on long dinners on crowded nights like the new year's eve your clothes will also smell accordingly afterwards.) As this is Switzerland, the meze are not cheap - but you will not leave hungry. The service has always been friendly and the quality has been consistently good for the past roughly 15 years. If I lived closer, I would also make use of take-away as I've seen some customers do.
Located on the barfürsserplatz, this restaurant offers a Lebanese restaurant and more generally oriental classic. The kitchen is satisfactory and the friendly service but it is overall average for prices that are rather high. For example, the mineral water (1 liter) served in a pot for a price of 10.80 hp!
