Was Daniel Smith at King Buffet a mag?
Great food, great service, they are constantly refilling the buffet and always bringing out new food. Also fridays they have crab legs again with a seafood buffet for 20 dollars per person. The crab was great while the other food was just decent nothingto brag about. Would recommend but pricey for Fridays and not great food besides the crab, also the bathrooms were not thecleanest. What Heather Phillips dislikes about King Buffet:
Sadly I used to love this spot. Last time I took the family out they charged me for my 12 year old as a adult price. Okay understandable. Go tonight and they charged my 11 year old as adult as well??????? I had asked them why my 11 year old wascharged as a adult?? She said ohhh 11 and up adult. I told her last time I was there they said 12 and up adults???? And tothink they try to charge me extra because I was feedin... View all feedback.

Place not bad even though they should fix their sign outside which may bring in more customers. Food was fine and I have been there a few times now and will return.

Claiming to be "the Biggest and Largest Chinese Restaurant in Bartow," King Buffet truly lives up to that title in a town as small as Bartow. While the buffet's main offerings may not stand out for their originality, they certainly impress with their flavor. One highlight is their egg roll, which features a smoother, meatier filling compared to the typical cabbage-heavy versions found in many Chinese restaurants. If you find the Chinese cakes filled with sweet black bean paste available in the dessert section, I highly recommend giving them a try. They resemble pastries more than traditional cakes and are usually only found at authentic Chinese bakeries or dim sum establishments. Although the table service might be a bit curt, it's by no means unfriendly. If you’re in Bartow and craving a variety of Chinese dishes, King Buffet is the place to go—it's truly in a league of its own.

The staff was friendly, and the food was served hot, but it lacked flavor. As an older person myself, I found it rather bland. Honestly, I would prefer Panda Express if it were available nearby. I was also surprised by the pricing—the weekday cost is $9, but it jumps to $19 on Fridays due to crab legs, even if you don’t consume seafood. I should have inquired about that beforehand. Would I return? I'm not sure. The crab legs seemed popular, as others were enjoying them, but I noticed no one was touching the oysters.
