With all the construction that has been going on for the past year or two, it's surprising that anyone can reach any of the restaurants in the area. The shopping center has been torn apart and rebuilt, and a "new" Burger King was recently squeezed in - years ago, there was a great BK just down the road, but it was replaced by another business. What a shame! This new location seems to meet the expectations of the Burger King brand. It's not entirely fair to evaluate it solely based on the construction issues and limited access; likely, locals who can walk over have a better chance of getting there. If you can navigate the hassles to get in, you'll find it's your typical Burger King experience.

However, the one I had in Ruskin, Florida was disappointing - it tasted like they had replaced the meat with a veggie burger. I was hesitant to try it again, but I'm glad I did in Bartow, Florida.

The employee working the dr... read more Firstly, I must say that the friendly service at this restaurant should not be acceptable! If I could, I would give them zero stars. The employee working the drive-thru had no customer service skills at all. He was very rude and lazy, dismissing my requests for no pickles on my sandwich multiple times. Despite me clearly stating my preference, I received my order only to find that it was incorrect and had pickles on it, despite not supposed to have any. When I returned to the restaurant to speak to a manager, the employee laughed and made jokes about my complaint. After waiting for 25 minutes, the manager finally came out and apologized for the mistake, but did not seem very concerned. The employee who delivered my food continued to be disrespectful, making a sarcastic comment as he handed me my replacement order. In conclusion, the employee should be let go and trained on how to treat paying customers properly. While the manager did rectify the situation by replacing the food, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the poor attitude of the employees and their disregard for customer requests. It is important for a restaurant to take customer preferences seriously, especially when it comes to potential food allergies that could result in a trip to the hospital.
