I sta... read more I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Mexhico! The interior of the restaurant is very inviting on a warm day they pull back the windows let the breeze in! I started with their signature margarita, which I would HIGHLY recommend moved to theguacamole, which was an absolute stand-out. Likely the best guacamole I’ve ever had. The vegan tacos were delish, overall, amust visit! ????

I... read more TL;DR: Mexhico is the best vegan restaurant I have tried so far. Detailed review: I am a vegetarian and I was looking up for vegetarian restaurants in Barrie. I came across Mexhico which had very good reviews online. My husband and I decided to try thisplace. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff so kindly and enthusiastically that it made us feel extremely welcomed. Wewere trying out Mexican food for the first time so we had some doubts about the dishes. Cathy was our server and she explainedus very well. So then we ordered some drinks, Tacos De Barbacoa, and Mexhico's Stuffed Burger. I must say, the burger was superdelicious with a surprise inside the patty. You must try it and experience it by yourself. The tacos were tasty too. The staffis very friendly and their service is extremely nice too. This place is located in the downtown of Barrie and has cute, cityvibes. Whenever I go back to Barrie, I will definitely be visiting this place again.

Our server was so friendly and helpful with her suggestions. The restaurant itself is lovely, well lit, andspacious. Washroom is impeccably clean. There's even a cute little corner with local crafts and food items to-go.

There are pictures of the Mexican tarot cards, an arch of sombreros, and floor to ceiling windows lettingbright rays of sunlight in. The menu is thoughtfully curated to give you the essence of Mexican cuisine through a plant basedapproach. We enjoyed the two items we ordered and would gladly visit again to try out more of their menu.
