Our server was very friendly and helpful. Being a Monday night it was not overly busy but active enough. It was a family dinner and all our choices were good. My wife and I both had the lobster tails with mussels, scallops and shrimp over linguine. Tasty! I also had a very crisp Caesar salad. The clam chowder was excellent as well. Overall a very good meal. View all feedback.
What SaultDiner doesn't like about Red Lobster:
Had to wait 20+ minutes for a table even though the restaurant was half empty as the kitchen was overwhelmed with a large party, then get seated beside the large party of snotty nose brats while I hoped to enjoy a nice dinner in a quiet atmosphere… the waitress however was great Now onto the food.. miss some of the older steak combos… but I found something that was ok. It came to the table cold however at this point... View all feedback.

Was shocked that I could not get a garden salad??? No longer offered. Also no longer soup and salad unlimited. Used to love the biscuits..these were doughy. Ordered a water with lemon..no straw.
Sept 19th, my wife and my 18th Anniversary. She was not feeling well, so I thought that I would surprise her with her favorite dinner. I Went in to Barrie Red Lobster to the take out section to order our dinner around 5pm. There was just myself and my son. First off, they stopped selling our favorite appetizer: the bacon wrapped scallops, OK. So I ordered our usual myself: the shrimp Trio, no deep-fried shrimp and please exchange it with another garlic shrimp skewer, for the wife: a crab linguini Alfredo (most expensive of pasta dishes), but please exchange crab for scallops and we will pay the extra if required. Server states, we don't do substitutes, I said, you guys have always substituted for us for years, The server basically calls me a liar. She then snapped at one of her fellow co-workers to shut up cause she is trying to work. Really poor attitude for sure. I asked if she could suggest something cause my wife only likes scallops. Sorry not for me to decide what your wife should eat. That for a suggestion request? wow. I said I guess I will go somewhere else then, she replied: okay, bye. with attitude. Real unprofessional. I have been in the business for decades and have owned and operated dozens of my own restaurants, and yes franchises too, but now retired. This person definitely does NOT belong in the industry. Anyhow, no substitutions on items we have had substitutions on for years now; unacceptable. I unfortunately will not be returning to Barrie red Lobster; too many other place more willing to take my business. I too will be sharing my story to everyone. I Don't mean to be so harsh, I get the stresses, but this really was not an experience I wish on anyone.

It came to the table cold however at this point I needed to get on the road for a lengthy drive home so just ate it… Would not stop here again I understand all places are short staffed but there’s something else going on here!
Decided to take a road trip and stopped here for dinner. We should have kept going as the taste of things were just so so . The wait staff was excellent the decor was inviting but the food was not worth the price .
