What Mark B doesn't like about Havana:
Positives: 1. Our entrees were excellent. Negatives: 1. We had a Havana Gift Card and intended to use it for the entire Havana dining experience i.e., dinner, tips, tax everything. However, when I presented the Gift Card to our waiter, he informed us that it could not be used for tips. This caused us to have to use our credit card for the tip, leaving a balance on the Gift Card in an amount that was too small to be o... View all feedback. What Alex likes about Havana:
When I visited Havana, it was for a special occasion. We had had some subpar meals in the area over the past day, rather surprisingly for the average prices around the Bar Harbor area. In Havana, we got one of the best meals in Bar Harbor, with perfect service. We got two Tourmaline Red beers (I believe that’s what they were) which were incredible, along with the Pollo, and the Paella. Our appetizers were the Polpo a... View all feedback.

The food is really good. But the dish sizes leave a lot to be desired. The seafood paella was an ok size, but the Pollo was small and I left hungry, and I don't...

read moreHavana restaurant in Bar Harbor, Maine has received generally positive reviews, with customers praising the tasty and diverse menu offerings. However, some negative points were raised, such as issues with the Havana Gift Card policy and slow drink service. Despite these drawbacks, customers enjoyed the excellent entrees and friendly staff. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect dining spot for a special occasion or a casual night out. Some standout dishes mentioned were the paella, lamb chops, and Tres Leches dessert, all receiving high praise. Overall, Havana is a top choice for delicious Cuban-inspired cuisine in the picturesque town of Bar Harbor. The only downsides mentioned were the parking situation and occasional wait times, but the fantastic food and great service make it worth the visit.
