Great location and base for exploring the Beara Peninsula. Beach and small slipway on the property provide safe areas for kids to swim, launch kayaks etc. Only a few minutes from shops and great restaurants. View all feedback.
I shared a pod with a family member, They were so well laid out, had a double bed, ensuite, and a kitchen. We also had use of our very own bbq and picnic table right outside the pod door. The pods were spacious and clean. They have a fantastic restaurant and a great menu with something to suit everyone. The staff were just amazing and attentive I can't wait to stay there again
I recently facilitated a group retreat in Berehaven Lodge and from start to finish the service was 5 star! Beautiful lodges and glamping pods for our participants, spacious, clean and so comfortable. Our meals from breakfast, lunch and dinner had a variety of choices for all pallets and the service was impeccable. The location is a perfect spot for a tranquil, peaceful weekend but also very near all amenities if you want to go exploring the coastal walks, take a trip to Dursey or Bere Island or visit the local ships, restaurants and pubs which there is an abundance to choose from. Highly recommend a visit.
My family and I stayed here to celebrate my mothers birthday. It was my first time staying in a glamping pod and I was really impressed. We booked six and they are all finished to a very high standard with comfortable beds and nice sized showers. I just found the 10AM checkout quite early, would of been great if it was an hour or two later especially with children. There is a pebble beach couple of minute walk from the pods which isna great bonus. We had a meal in the bar and restaurant on site, the food was gorgeous and the staff were great. I dealt with Sheila and she was very kind and accomodating and we really enjoyed staying here.
The Berehaven site is brilliantly situated, out of town yet close to it, in a peaceful location with stunning views. You drive by the lodges to get to the glamping pods like the one we stayed in, and on that short drive you get to see how brilliantly and neatly maintained the whole place is. I’ve gone 4 stars for the ‘rooms’ rating because of a couple of things: the bed wasn’t particularly comfy and the fridge is quite noisy. Super minor things in an otherwise stunning site!
Very nice place. Incredible views.
