before eating was super tasty, we wanted to go on a restaurant and see what we can offer. but we were very invited to take the place that has not happened to us in the world. the beer was very fast there, as demand is prepared, we got a very accurate explanation. we then decided to fish which was left the same day. it really very tasty, I think the whole family works in the operation with what makes it very interesti... We took the sea mussel dish. The mussels have been completely designed, cold and covered with a soothing layer of creme that has not been able to give them the taste of freshly pechees and freshly cooked fraiches) View all feedback.
We are from the states and had a great time at Jacks! We sat inside and the staff was all so friendly, we ordered a few Guinness that did not disappoint and the catch of the day which was cod, was absolutely delicious!
They graciously accommodated us even though we arrived very late after swimming at Garnish beach.
I knew my options as a vegetarian/vegan were going to be limited here so i went in with those expectations. the chips were lovely, the soup was fine, the guinness was delicious. The music was dreadful and when the cd skipped and stopped they restarted it. we had to leave haha. our server was brilliant! she was a young girl that said “perfect” after everything said to her which i found really endearing. she was very attentive and i felt really taken care of. she alone brings this from a three to a four star place. We were also checked on by an older woman who works there too and she was also lovely.
A quiet October Sunday night in Glengarriff, so it was great to enter a place that served great seafood. This was really good. If you want to taste and eat quality seafood , this is as good as it gets. I had fresh scallops and my wife had pan fried monkfish. Both amazing !
