China House - BANNER ELK

This little Chinese stain has amazing food. But unfortunately not the best seating area. It looks like a hole in the wall, but the food doesn't let you down. I personally recommend Takeout, because it is still hot when you come home.

China House Restaurant is great! Better tasting of food than many places I have in Raleigh, NC. In the five days we were on vacation we had China House twice! General taos chicken was so good, the sauce was rich. There were more chickens than bread in the container. I would recommend to anyone who gives China House a chance.

We had the buffet today, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice. My only negative was the buffet was very small, not many articles and no crabs Rangoon.

The portions are huge. I didn't have the buffet recently, but last time I loved it. I eat here when I visit Chinese.

Best American-Chinese food I’ve had. Always good food. The main lady is great, straight to the point and quick. She is our favorite person to talk to when we order. They are always quick to get our food out, we just go in and grab it and then we’re out. A lot of reviews say negative of this, I’m not sure why. It’s better service than other restaurants around Banner Elk area. Then again, we’re going for good food, not a conversation. We order here more often then we should, a guilty pleasure I suppose. I highly recommend this place to everyone in the area.
