Wow the comments people leave. I found this newly acquired restaurant adequate for my breakfast needs. A bit busy staffing, clean, quick service, will not hesitate returning in the future. Came here after reading good reviews- should have looked at most recent reviews. This place was dirty, the coffee tasted burnt, cold, cheap and old. I asked for an extra toasty waffle and it was completely raw inside. Bacon was burnt (black). It. Was. Terrible. Runny undercooked grits, old smelling bread, what tasted like a pre-made frozen breakfast burrito, greasy hashbrowns. Service left much to be desired.
Do not waste your money at this god awful restaurant. Mediocre service along with terrible food. Waited ten minutes after food arrived for silverware. Omelette had literally zero cheese. Home fries soggy and flavorless with no color. Looks like they werent even fries. If I never went here again it would be too soon.
Went to go get some breakfast and that ran out of half the menu than the food came. Eggs had no cheese waiter was horrible. It was loud inside and the price was crazy five people and $80 (the juice was 4$ for the small 4% charge for credit card so bring cash if you do come. NOT RECOMMENDED!
A lovely way to start the day in Banner Elk. If you're in town for the land of oz or in the winter for the skiing I do recommend checking this place out at least once.
We were seated for 10 minutes before getting menus. Then another 25 minutes passed as other people were seated and orders taken. When we spoke up, a waitress stated we should move up to a different table for a better chance of not being forgotten. There were three other tables of people around us. Then she said it would be another 45 minutes wait for food. We went elsewhere.
