The restaurant can get quite loud and busy, making communication difficult for patrons. On pasta night, some diners found the food to be lacking in flavor. However, the Ribeye experience for two was a hit with a group celebrating a special occasion. Larkspur Lounge was praised for its generous food portions, wide drink selection, and entertaining live music. Despite some reservation issues, the home-cooked food at 7 Hills was enjoyed by many. Visitors to the restaurant during a trip on The Rocky Mountaineer felt like royalty, thanks to the excellent service and delicious drinks.
