The Old Spaghetti Factory - Banff

I had a great experience here. our server, thomas was the best! he was friendly, sweet and friendly. he is an extraordinary server and management should know that. the food itself was also good, and the price was on the affordable end. I came with my sister and my brother-in law and we all enjoyed our time here. we will come back and ask for thomas again. I would recommend to all my friends.

A few days ago my family and I came in to eat at the spaghetti factory. Our waitress was Maureen. She was super friendly and really good with our kids. I could tell she was extremely busy with her other tables but still took the time to talk to the kids and answer any questions we had. Our meal was delightful and her kindness and positivity made our dine in experience that much better. We even got recommendations on activities to participate in while on vacation here. Safe to say we will be going back next time we visit banff! Keep up the great work.

Poor quality food and lousy service. But we should have paid attention to the word “factory”. Also, it seems to have seriously gone downhill since we last visited pre Covid. Food was over cooked and lacked flavour think mushy and bland pasta. And the salad was rough cut chunks of lettuce drowned in sauce. Server never bothered to ask how our food was, didn’t offer the all inclusive dessert or tea/coffee and yet still asked for service to be added. Only redemption was that it was reasonably quick and we were glad to be done.

We used to come back to this place every year but this year the quality has gone down dramatically. We ordered the chicken pasta as well as the tomato pasta. These meals also came with drinks, starter and a dessert. I had the french onion soup which was very cheesy but the bread was completely soggy and disintegrating. The soup base was very salty. In addition, the salad was average and plain. Before i had finished my starter, the waiter had already put the main meal on the table, disrupting me and forcing me to stop my starter. My main was quite plain and the pasta was too doughy. My sauce was very mushy and quite plain. The waiter didn't even offer the ice cream or drinks so we had to ask. The ice cream was very sugary and not appetising. I'm not going to come back again.

We rate the Old Spaghetti Factory very highly as the food is of excellent quality,well cooked,good value and a wide choice.
