We ordered the big breakfast, coconut shrimp, and a 10oz New York steak. It was all very good, no complaints except the ham was a bit salty. The shrimp was much better than I expected, fresh and crispy, the fries were very good, and the steak was a good quality as well for its price. Our birthday celebration for an 80 year old got moved to Dave's Place, when the local Chinese restaurant failed to acknowledge our group. People ordered a variety of food and drinks, and Dave's service was adequate.Parking was a bit of challenge for a large group.Would be great to have ice water brought to the table without asking, but that is becoming the "norm" in many food places. This is a local gem! Such an amazing family who run this place! So friendly and go above and beyond to serve you. Food is very fresh and cooked from scratch. The ribs were my favourite!
Bancroft is half way between my brother and i and we tried Daves. Outstanding food and service. Breakfast all day. Childrens and seniors portion. Dave and his son Nathan do it up right. Highly recommend that you try for yourself.
I highly recommend dining at Dave's Place in Bancroft. Everything we had for dinner was fresh and delicious! I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was not frozen and the panko breading stayed crispy throughout the entire meal. It came with a side of pasta and homemade tomato sauce. My wife had the grilled pickerel, which was excellent, and she especially loved the fresh side vegetables done Asian style. Our daughters each had spaghetti with homemade meatballs and they absolutely loved it!
Plenty of food and good prices. Time between ordering and getting plates was too long. They were not busy at the time either. Very clean inside. Very friendly
Good food friendly service. We have been here a few times now. The food has always been good and the prices are reasonable We will definitely be back again
