Was Anonym at Dave's Place a mag?
We ordered the big breakfast, coconut shrimp, and a 10oz New York steak. It was all very good, no complaints except the ham was a bit salty. The shrimp was much better than I expected, fresh and crispy, the fries were very good, and the steak was a good quality as well for its price. Server was also very polite, a great place to get a meal. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Dave's Place:
Our birthday celebration for an 80 year old got moved to Dave's Place, when the local Chinese restaurant failed to acknowledge our group. People ordered a variety of food and drinks, and Dave's service was adequate.Parking was a bit of challenge for a large group.Would be great to have ice water brought to the table without asking, but that is becoming the "norm" in many food places. Like others have said Dave is very friendly and cooks everything fresh. It was all so yummy. The outside is deceiving. It doesn't look as fancy as the food is good.

We love going to Dave's Place. The menu has a good variety and Dave cooks everything himself and he is so friendly. He allows you to sit and relax without pushing you out the door. We have enjoyed everything we have eaten there and it's great supporting an individual as opposed to a franchise. The benches are a little worn, but the food is great! :)

Dave's is a family run restaurant (I think). Our first experience was on Friday morning (2 Oct) and because it was phenominal we stopped on our way home on Sunday (4 Oct). Service is "homy", meals fantastic (Ultimate breakfast is super, western omelette to die for and my wife informed me the hamburger steak was terrific. Well worth the time to stop in Bancroft and have an "Experience" at Dave's Place (Great view of beer store!)

We met the owners of Dave's Restaurant in Bucerias, Mexico! A great couple said they had a Restaurant in BANCROFT. We never been to Bancroft so we decided on a Road trip. Had a Excellent Supper at Dave's, and returned again for a perfect breakfast before heading Home! This RESTAURANT is a MUST GO whenever your visiting Bancroft. Highly recommended by us. This unassuming diner had great reviews or otherwise we may have driven right by. It was wonderful to be welcomed inside by the owner, Dave, and we enjoyed the time we spent chatting with him. (Luckily the after-church crowd hadn't quite arrived yet, so he had time to visit with us). Our breakfasts were freshly prepared and served promptly. Social distancing protocols were in place, but did not overshadow the visit. It was nice to have a dine-in experience in our new getting-back-to-normal world. We will definitely look Dave up the next time we do a road trip through Bancroft.
