Description

A recent comprehensive review of the restaurant highlighted both positive and negative experiences. The food quality varied from tasteless turkey and old vegetables to delicious schnitzel and Caesar salad. Some patrons were unimpressed by the service, citing inattentive waitstaff, while others found the service to be friendly and efficient. The restaurant was praised for offering gluten-free options with care to avoid cross-contamination. Overall, mixed reviews suggested that while some customers were disappointed and vowed not to return, others were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service, promising to come back for more.

The restaurant has new owners, so I cannot confirm if the information is still accurate since I have not dined there since it changed hands. Although they are not a gluten-free restaurant, they make a tasty gluten-free schnitzel and take great care to avoid cross-contamination. This is the only restaurant in the area where I feel comfortable eating.

The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the portions were generous. If my meal hadn’t been so satisfying, I would have loved to sample the homemade desserts. Perhaps next time I’ll have dessert before the main course!

Was travelling from camping in Algonquin to Toronto and stopped here on Thanksgiving Eve. I had the veg Quesadillas and my friend had a burger. Both of loved how great the food was and the service was so friendly and homely compared to all the places we eat in Toronto. The service especially was so heartwarming for me because after moving from India to Canada I never experienced such homey and heart warming feeling in a Canadian restaurant. Also their Pecan Tart is Grade A. I hope to pass through the town again so I can stop here again.Vegetarian options: The veg burger and veg Quesadillas are two options. Tried the Quesadillas they are great

This is the best dining spot in town. The chefs are exceptional, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Came in we ordered Mozza Stix to start and than I ordered The Klubber Sandwhich and I poutined my fries (like always) , than my husband ordered Bacon Cheese Burger. I had to request due to last time of getting Mozza Stix to start they were barely cooked. This time they were great. But than when we got our burgers the fries were undercooked and I had to get up and request to the server to get mustard and Relish, he didn't get any pickle either and just given ketchup at the table. The server( French lady) should know better that burgers come with the works and if it isn't dressed in the kitchen you are to bring the condiments to the table otherwise . And when you try and explain shes walking away from the table still talking and shes very loud when shes taking your order. Gives me anxiety and makes me feel anxious. Disappointing the last 2 times and this type of food is easy to cook I could do it with my eyes closed . Won't be back!!!
