Smaltimore is by far the best place in the state of Maryland the eat a burger. My wife and I go there for lunch at least 2 times a week and the different types of burgers that they sell like the wild boar the buffalo and the Australian wagyu cannot be beat it is the best thing you'll ever put in your mouth.... Penn State bar! Not biased, they have a really diverse menu with so many options. And they do it well. Could use some game day specials like free shots when Penn State scores, similar to what other bars provide. View all feedback.
Smaltimore is a great neighborhood bar. My only complaint is the wings have gone downhill over the past year. They advertise that they have Delia Foleys wings (which are the best in town) but the past few times I’ve had them they were very dry. Almost as if they’ve been reheated. Bummed out on the wings, but otherwise good experiences at smaltimore.
Nice selection and an easy place to talk with people.
I really like the burgers, the homestyle tenders and the breakfast bowl. They always treat me well.
