This place is a hidden gem in the city. Food was great. Service was excellent. The vibe was laid back in a GROWN Folks kinda way Live Band called Focused Back When was playing) We were celebrating a Birthday with some family.Witnessed a marriage proposal while there- btw she said yes ????It turned out to be an AWESOME night???? check them out!

Only concern is LOCATION. There is a gated parking. If you have a concern about being inthe middle of the hood, it may not be the spot for you. If location don't bother you, then it is a hidden gem in the middle ofthe hood next door to Shake and Bake Family Fun Center).

This is a sure way to discourage a future order as I'm in a hotel with no way to get these items yourself. It's really important to read the notesbwhen people order and to give them EVERYTHING they ordered! As far as the food: here's a couple of tips ... poke some holes inthe top of the container when people order fish so that it's still crispy when it arrives and it doesn't get steamed and soggy.Also my mac and cheese was unedible and there was a bunch of plastic in it and what appears to be some eggshell. See picturesbelow. Not sure what that was. I tried calling after I received my DoorDash order but no one ever answered the phone.

The greens were very aesthet... read more I ordered from here twice. The first time I ordered a fish, dinner and three sides. The macaroni and sweet potatoes were delicious. The greens were very aesthetically pleasing. However, they reeked of curry and weren’t seasoned well. The fish portion was so minuscule and it had a weird breading to it. The fish was good, but even with inflation there is no reason to give such small portions. I ordered just the sides again, and the greens still smelled bad. It seems like they were going for Caribbean style and it’s not working too well. The tea is delicious, but very sweet. I’m going to warn anyone that has issues with sugar. Either avoid the tea all together or water it down. The pudding was not good. Very liquified, and it didn’t taste great. In fact, it tasted gritty. Overall, I guess this place tried, but I’m getting vibes that they’re just capitalizing off of the black owned label. More profits for them=less product and higher prices for you.
